- Dimensions 7 * 10 mm (inner and outer diameter)
- Supplied length 10 m
- Suitable for cooling and heating circuits
- High chemical resistance
Product Description
This silicone tubing is suitable for cooling and heating circuits as well as for transporting liquids in prototypes and laboratory setups. The material is resistant to many chemicals and oils encountered in experimental engineering.
With an inner diameter of 7 mm and an outer diameter of 10 mm, it fits common connections on pumps, temperature blocks, and flow meters. The length of 10 m allows flexible tubing routes over distances of several meters without intermediate connectors. The high flexibility of the silicone eliminates the need for rigid tubes and elbow fittings during assembly.
It can be used for temperature ranges of approximately -50 to +180 °C, depending on the medium and pressure in the individual application. If the tubing is operated under higher loads or with pressurized media, pressure-resistant fittings may be required. The tubing itself has no internal reinforcement and is therefore not suitable for vacuum applications.
Safety Information
This tubing is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes. When operated under overpressure or subjected to shock loads, fittings with safety valves and pressure tests may be required. If there is any uncertainty regarding material compatibility or operating conditions, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning.
