Product description
This set provides all common wiring cables for working with breadboards. With 40 each of male-to-male and male-to-female variants, prototypes can be built with microcontroller boards, sensors, and other modules without having to resolder anything during experimentation.
The compact 10 cm length enables dense connections on the breadboard while keeping the wiring organized. The gold-plated contacts ensure stable connections without oxidation problems, especially since the cables are frequently plugged and unplugged. Each wire has a distinct color, which makes tracing potentials and ground connections in more complex circuits considerably easier.
The combination of male and female cables covers typical wiring tasks: male-to-male cables connect two bus rails on the breadboard or two male headers on add-on modules, while male-to-female cables connect modules with pin headers to female connection points. For extensive test setups with multiple components, the 80 cables in the set compensate for wear and enable quick reconfiguration without additional orders.
Only the unrestricted expandability of a breadboard, that is, larger projects without soldering, requires the complete set. For smaller prototypes, 20 to 30 cables in total are often sufficient. The material in the contact sleeves typically shows visible wear after three to four years of intensive use, and the cables should then be replaced.
Safety notice
These cables are intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes on breadboards and microcontroller boards. They must never be used for reverse polarity or high-voltage applications in household electrical circuits. Before commissioning new circuits, a qualified electrician should check the circuit diagram if mains voltage is involved or if there is any uncertainty.
