Product Description
This HMI touchscreen serves as a user interface for microcontroller projects and small industrial control systems. The resistive touch panel responds to finger and stylus input, while the serial UART connection allows multiple displays to be operated in parallel from one controller.
The display is programmed using its configuration software, so the associated controllers do not need to run code for the user interface. Graphics, text, sliders, buttons, and display elements are created in the editor, and the data is transferred to the built-in flash memory module. The microcontroller then only needs to send numerical values for display and read user input.
Typical applications include control panels for laboratory equipment, status displays for machine controls, and control elements for sensor networks in the development stage. This separation of control logic and display interface is also useful when building process automation demonstrators.
