Product description
The 1.44-inch display with an SPI interface shows 128 * 128 pixels in color and can be connected directly to microcontroller boards. The ST7735 driver chip manages all display functions, requiring only a few connection wires. SPI communication enables high transfer rates, allowing animations and rapid image changes to be displayed smoothly.
With a typical operating voltage of 3.3 V, the module is particularly suitable for battery-powered projects. Anyone wishing to operate it with 5 V logic requires a level shifter between the controller and the data lines. Power consumption is in the range of a few hundred milliamperes, depending on display brightness and image content.
Typical applications include portable measuring instruments with live displays, for example for measuring temperature, humidity, or light intensity.
