ESP32 Shield / ESP32 DevKitC Backplane for WROOM-32D/32U and WROVER Modules:

The ESP32 Shield / ESP32 DevKitC Backplane is a practical expansion board for ESP32 DevKitC development boards. It serves as a carrier board for routing the pins of a compatible ESP32 board out in an organized way and for connecting sensors, modules, LEDs, buttons, or other components more easily.

The board is suitable for ESP32 DevKitC variants that may be equipped with modules such as ESP32-WROOM-32D, ESP32-WROOM-32U, or ESP32-WROVER. With the signal, power, and ground connections routed out separately, projects can be built much more cleanly and systematically than with individual connections directly on the microcontroller board.

Depending on the setup, power can be supplied via the DC connection or USB. The Shield also provides several connector rows with a 2.54 mm pin spacing. This makes the board particularly suitable for prototypes, learning projects, IoT applications, and custom electronics projects with the ESP32.

Please note: The ESP32 development board is not included. Before use, check whether the pin layout of the ESP32 DevKitC board being used matches the Shield.
