Product Description
This ceramic capacitor with a capacitance of 0.1 µF is used for voltage stabilization and noise suppression in electronic circuits. The rated voltage of 50 V allows it to be used in power supplies with an operating voltage of up to 50 V, provided the actual supply voltage does not exceed this value.
The capacitor acts as a decoupling element directly at the supply pins of microcontrollers, sensor ICs, and other digital components. It buffers short-term current spikes and suppresses high-frequency interference on the power supply. The low capacitance of 0.1 µF is particularly suitable for high-frequency applications and provides a reliable first stage of circuit decoupling.
The capacitor is used in circuits with microcontroller boards, sensor and actuator modules, and smaller power supply circuits. Typically, several of these capacitors are connected in parallel to cover different frequency ranges. Whether used in test and development setups or on custom-designed circuit boards, the compact size allows for flexible placement.
Replacing it with capacitors of higher capacitance changes the filter characteristics. For applications with higher voltages, a capacitor with a correspondingly higher rated voltage must be selected. Polarity does not matter for ceramic capacitors.
Safety Notice
The module is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes. Work on or near electrical installations is reserved for qualified electricians; if anything is unclear, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning.
