Product Description
This miniature air pump supplies pneumatic systems in laboratory setups or prototypes with compressed air. The pump draws power from a 6 V DC source, so it must be connected to a separate power supply or battery with this voltage. Its maximum pressure of 0.3 bar is suitable for light pneumatic applications such as actuating miniature cylinders, ventilating containers, or gas-liquid applications without pressure; its output is insufficient for industrial high-pressure applications.
The pump delivers up to 1.2 liters of air per minute, which is sufficient for intermittent or low-frequency pressure applications. If you need a high, continuous flow rate, this pump will reach its limits. The integrated check valves prevent pressure from flowing back into the pump when the power supply is disconnected. The flexible tubing connection requires no tools and adapts to different applications.
Typical applications include pneumatic controls in experimental setups, building air actuator demos for learning projects, and temporarily ventilating or evacuating test containers. Expect increased motor heat during continuous operation. The pump requires a stable 6 V power supply capable of delivering at least 1 to 2 amps; a basic bench power supply or a regulated power supply will meet this requirement easily.
