Product Description

The XT90-S is a high-current connector for safely connecting batteries to devices and charging systems. The anti-spark function automatically connects through a spring-loaded pre-charge resistor before the main contacts make contact. This eliminates dangerous arcs when plugging in under load and protects electronic circuits.

Thanks to the gold-plated contacts, contact resistance is minimal, and voltage losses remain low even at high current levels. The connector is suitable for high-energy applications such as drone batteries, electric vehicle battery packs, or mobile charging systems where reliable power transmission without downtime is required.

Especially in mobile robotics projects and portable energy storage systems, the anti-spark version proves advantageous because it allows repeated connection and disconnection during the testing phase without damaging the contacts. The pair also saves materials and assembly time when upgrading existing XT90 connections.

Both parts of the connector are included. For secure retention during frequent connection, additional securing with a housing or fixtures is recommended according to the project-specific assembly plan.
