Product description
The XT30 connector pair consists of a plug and socket, each with two gold-plated contacts designed as solder tabs. Soldering directly to the cable is not necessary, and no crimping tool is required. The gold plating keeps contact resistance low and protects the contacts against oxidation.
The form-fitting geometry permits only one connection direction, preventing reverse polarity. The polyamide housing holds the two parts together after connection through its shape alone, without additional locking, and retains its shape during soldering.
The connector is designed for a continuous current of 15 A; short-term loads of up to 30 A are possible. This makes it the standard for connecting batteries to motors and electronic speed controllers in RC models, small robots, and LED installations. The operating temperature range from minus 20 to 120 degrees Celsius ensures safe connections even when heat is generated.
Safety information
When soldering, safety guidelines for soldering work must be observed. This product is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes. If you have questions about current capacity or use in electrical systems, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning.
