Product Description
The XT120 is a high-current connector for connections of up to 120 A, for example in solar systems, energy storage systems, or mobile power supplies. The set contains two complete plug-and-socket pairs, enabling several independent high-current circuits or a redundant backup system.
The gold-plated contacts ensure secure connections even with frequent plugging and unplugging. The flat connector design fits in tight battery housings and control cabinets where larger connectors would not fit. When wiring, ensure that the current-carrying conductors are safely insulated; interrupting high-current connections in the event of a fault requires specialist expertise.
Typical applications include connecting solar panels to charge controllers, connecting energy storage systems to inverters, or separating circuits in mobile or stationary battery systems. This type of connector is also used in emergency power generator installations to allow generators to be flexibly connected and disconnected.
The connectors are mechanically durable and withstand vibrations, making them suitable for mobile vehicle applications as well.
