Product description
This voltage converter works as both a step-up and a step-down converter, providing flexibility when powering projects. An input range of 4 to 32 V and an output range of 1.25 to 35 V make the module versatile when different voltage sources and loads need to be matched.
The two integrated XL6009 and LM2596 circuits control the conversion independently of each other. The potentiometer on the module allows you to adjust the output voltage directly without programming or calibrating the circuit. The module also remains stable under load for operating currents of up to 4 A.
In everyday laboratory work, such a module is useful in scenarios where multiple voltage sources are available. Examples include powering a 5 V sensor setup from a 12 V battery, increasing a 3.3 V source to 5 V for digital logic, or combining multiple power supplies into a single stable output voltage.
