Product Description
Trimmer potentiometers are resistors with an adjustable value that can be fine-tuned during operation. The set contains quantities of commonly required values ranging from low resistance to the megaohm range, allowing most circuit calibration tasks to be completed without additional purchases.
The resistance value is changed by turning a small screw. The trimmer potentiometers sit directly on the circuit board and take up very little space. This makes it possible, for example, to adjust the sensitivity of a light sensor without rewiring or to correct the output voltage of a voltage regulator.
Typical applications include adjusting threshold comparators in moisture meters, tuning levels in audio amplifiers, and trim adjustment in analog measurement cards. These potentiometers are also suitable for subsequent fine correction of series prototypes.
The standard perfboard spacing allows use on conventional electronics prototyping boards. The ten resistors cover typical requirements; specialized values or larger quantities must be purchased separately.
