Product Description
The SHT41 is a combined temperature and humidity sensor with an I2C interface for connection to standard microcontroller boards. It measures temperatures between -40 and +125 °C and relative humidity from 0 to 100% with an accuracy of ±1.5% each across its entire operating range. The measured values are available digitally via I2C.
The sensor operates with supply voltages between 2.4 and 5.5 V, allowing it to be connected directly to both 3.3 V boards and 5 V logic devices without level shifters or voltage regulators. The two identical QWIIC connectors make it possible to connect and address multiple SHT41 modules in series without additional wiring. The sensor is factory-calibrated, so no readjustment is required.
Applications range from room climate monitoring in laboratories and living spaces to inventory monitoring in freezers, as well as process control in fermentation systems or drying ovens. Thanks to its compact format and low power consumption, the SHT41 is also suitable for portable weather devices or as an interface element between a sensor and a data logger.
Only a power supply within the sensor's voltage range and an I2C-capable microcontroller are required for operation. In the event of addressing conflicts between multiple identical modules, address jumpers or an I2C multiplexer can help.
