Product description
The electric motor with a shaft on both sides provides drive output on both sides simultaneously. This enables, for example, the mechanical coupling of both shaft ends or the installation of different gearboxes and mechanisms without having to build additional shaft transitions.
The motor operates at 12 V DC and delivers 25 W of power at a rated speed of 8200 rpm. Current consumption depends on the mechanical load and is significantly lower when idling than under load. The screw terminals enable a secure, permanent connection to power cables without plugs.
Applications include robotic grippers in which one gearbox drives the left jaw and another on the opposite side drives the right jaw, as well as dual-roller drives in conveyor systems. This shaft configuration is also practical for mixers or driven rollers on two levels.
A suitable 12 V DC power supply is required for operation. The power supply should significantly exceed the expected current consumption under load. The motor and power supply should be positioned close to each other to keep voltage drops in the power cable low.
