Product description
A peristaltic dosing pump moves liquids through wave-like pressure movements without the liquid coming into contact with moving parts. With a flow rate of up to 60 ml/min, the pump is suitable for applications that require small to medium quantities of liquid to be dispensed evenly.
The 12 V DC operating voltage requires a suitable power supply. The pump is controlled via an external control signal that switches it on and off or, with PWM control, regulates the flow rate. The silicone tubing is chemically resistant to many liquids and can be replaced separately when worn.
Typical applications include laboratory dosing, automatic irrigation systems in greenhouses or plant experiments, aquarium dosing systems for additives, production of small quantities in the chemical or food industries, and ink and color dosing in prototypes. In practice, this includes supplying nutrient solutions to experimental plants when precise, consistent dosing without carryover is required.
A stable 12 V power supply capable of meeting the pump’s power requirements is needed for operation. The maximum flow rate applies to water; the flow rate decreases with thicker or more viscous substances. Maintenance involves occasional flushing with water or cleaning agents; blockages in the tubing impair operation.
Safety notice
The power supply must be regulated and meet the pump’s requirements; power supply faults can cause damage. This product is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes. Work on or near electrical installations must be carried out by qualified electricians.
