Product Description
A peristaltic dosing pump conveys liquids through wave-like compression movements without the liquid coming into contact with moving parts. With a flow rate of up to 60 ml/min, the pump is suitable for applications requiring small to medium quantities of liquid to be dispensed evenly.
The 12 V DC operating voltage requires a suitable power supply. Control is provided via an external control signal that switches the pump on and off or, with PWM control, regulates the flow rate. The silicone tube is chemically resistant to many liquids and can be replaced separately when worn.
Typical applications include laboratory dosing, automatic irrigation systems in greenhouses or plant tests, aquarium dosing systems for additives, the production of small quantities in the chemical or food industry, and ink and dye dosing in prototypes. In practice, for example, it can be used to supply test plants with nutrient solutions when precise, even dosing without carryover is required.
Stable 12 V power is required for operation and must be capable of supplying the pump's power consumption. The maximum flow rate applies to water; the flow rate decreases with more viscous substances. Maintenance consists of occasionally flushing the pump with water or cleaning agents; blockages in the tube impair its function.
Safety Notice
The power supply must be regulated and comply with the pump's requirements; power supply faults may cause damage. The product is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes. Work on or near electrical installations must be carried out by qualified electricians.
