Product description
A perfboard is used to manually assemble circuits without design and manufacturing steps. The 2.54 mm pitch corresponds to the standard spacing of common components and connectors, allowing resistors, capacitors, ICs, and modules to be inserted directly. The double-sided silver-plated copper pads enable continuous connections from top to bottom.
Components are inserted from the top and soldered underneath. The plated-through holes electrically connect both sides, enabling very compact circuits, including multilayer assemblies. The layout remains flexible during assembly because each hole can be addressed individually.
These boards are suitable for quickly assembling sensor networks, prototyping control module integrations, expanding single-board computers with additional functions, or serving as universal experimental boards for circuit development in small-series production.
Soldering equipment and hookup wire are required for operation. A desoldering pump or desoldering braid makes reworking easier. The plastic carriers can withstand soldering temperatures of up to approximately 260 °C for short periods; for repeated work, heat dissipation to the right and left of the soldering area should be taken into account.
