Product Description
A microphone tone detection module captures ambient sounds and converts them into usable signals. The integrated microphone feeds acoustic data into a detection process, while the digital output is available as a switching pulse or status message. The interface uses an XH2.54 connector, enabling direct connection to microcontroller boards with 3-pin headers.
The module is used in project-based applications for voice-controlled prototypes, acoustic warning systems, or sound-based triggering mechanisms. A common scenario is connecting it to a robot that responds to hand signals or a whistle. The module can also be integrated into IoT networks to detect acoustic events and relay them to other components.
Operation typically requires a 5 V power supply unless the connection system specifies a different voltage. Detection reliability depends on ambient volume and filter settings, so practical setups require optimization for the specific operating conditions. As a development module only, it is not designed for continuous operation under adverse environmental conditions.
Safety Notice
This module is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes; it is not suitable for installation in household electrical circuits. Before commissioning, consult a qualified electrician when connecting it to more complex systems or if you are uncertain about the power supply. Observe the polarity of the XH2.54 connector to prevent damage.
