Product description
This servo motor with metal gears rotates its output shaft through an angle of up to 180° and positions it precisely in response to a PWM control signal. An internal feedback loop compares the pulse width of the control signal with the actual shaft position and adjusts the motor until the desired position is reached.
The motor is powered at 4.8 V via two wires of the three-wire connection cable; the third wire carries the control signal. The JR-compatible connector plugs directly into receiver boards used in model building and can also be connected to PWM-capable outputs on microcontrollers. The metal gears provide a stall torque of 2 kg/cm and ensure more robust power transmission than plastic gears.
The motor is suitable for applications involving mechanical loads, such as panning small cameras, moving robot grippers, or controlling model vehicles and aircraft. Since it uses the standard servo protocol, common servo libraries for microcontroller platforms can be used without additional electronics.
Operation requires a 4.8 V power source and a microcontroller or controller with a PWM-capable signal output. The 24 cm cable length determines the maximum distance between the servo motor and the control board.
Safety notice
This product is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes. Ensure the power supply is connected with the correct polarity; reversing it can cause damage. If you are unsure about integrating the product into a larger system, consult a qualified electrician before use.
