Product description

This dosing pump operates according to the peristaltic principle. A rotating gear compresses the tubing in a wave-like motion and then releases it again, allowing liquids to be pumped without the medium coming into contact with valves or moving parts. This makes the pump particularly suitable for sensitive, aggressive, or highly viscous liquids.

The flow rate can be continuously adjusted between 0.3 and 1500 ml/min, making it suitable for laboratory experiments, automatic feeders, or continuous dosing tasks. Depending on the liquid to be pumped, the appropriate tubing is selected: silicone for water and nutrient solutions, Lorgon for acids and alkalis, and Norprene for oils and fats. Because there are no internal valves, the maintenance and cleaning otherwise required for these components are eliminated.

The pump operates with 12 V DC and requires a maximum of 0.6 A. It can be controlled via an external control signal, but can also be operated manually using a potentiometer. Applications range from dosing in aquarium filters and supplying nutrients in laboratories to automated liquid delivery in fermentation processes. The pump can also be used to fill drip irrigation systems thanks to its precise adjustability.

A regulated 12 V power supply is required for operation. Tubing selection depends on the liquid, flow rate, and required service life; for frequently changing applications, the tubing lifespan should be taken into account. The external control connection uses standardized signal levels. If the application is unclear, check before operation that the control signal voltages are compatible with the pump's 12 V logic levels.

The pump is not intended for drinking water lines or household electrical circuits and is intended exclusively for testing and laboratory purposes. Work on electrical installations or unsafe power supply connections must be carried out by qualified electricians. Consult a qualified electrician before commissioning if the power supply is unclear. Aggressive chemicals may cause skin irritation; rinse immediately with water in case of contact.
