Product Description

A plug cable with a JST HY2.0 connection connects modules and components that use this plug-and-socket pair. The cable is 20 cm long and has an 8-pin plug on one side and an 8-pin socket on the other. Each contact is rated for 3 A, making it suitable for power supplies in the low-ampere range as well as signal lines.

The wires must be crimped, meaning they must be connected using crimping tools. The individual conductors are inserted into the contact terminals, which then lock into the housing. Anyone who regularly assembles JST HY connections will need a suitable crimping tool as well as the corresponding crimp contacts as consumables.

The cable is used to connect sensors, power supplies, and controller boards in prototype setups. It is often used in drone, robotics, and model-making projects where secure plug connections without soldering are required. Please note that the wires are not supplied stripped. Anyone integrating the cable into an existing system must either prepare the ends themselves or obtain a pre-crimped cable.
