Product Description
This high-power servo provides 180 kg·cm of torque and is suitable for mechanical loads that would overwhelm other servos. It is controlled via PWM signals in the standard 1–2 ms range, as provided by common controller boards and receivers.
The servo is powered by an operating voltage of 4.8–7.2 V. At 6 V, it achieves a response speed of 0.16 s per 60° of rotation. The robust metal gear construction withstands continuous loads without wear; the reinforced bearing bushings remain secure even at high torques.
Applications include robotics projects involving considerable leverage, such as gripper arms, tilting mechanisms, or swivel frames, as well as models with load-bearing functions. Its high torque also makes it suitable as a steering servo in mobile platforms with a large turning radius.
External power within the specified voltage range is required for operation; current consumption under load exceeds 5 A and requires a suitably rated power supply. The servo is supplied without accessories; adapter parts and mounting brackets must be purchased separately.
Safety Notice
The servo must not be connected to the household electrical supply. It is intended exclusively for prototype construction as well as testing and development purposes. The high torque presents a crushing and shearing hazard; the mechanism must not be touched or blocked during operation.
