Product description

This amplifier module with the TPA3116 chip is a component-level solution for wireless audio amplification. It receives audio signals via Bluetooth 5.0 and directly drives speakers up to their rated power without requiring additional audio preamplifiers.

The amplifier operates with 24 V DC and delivers up to 100 W of combined power to 4-ohm loads (50 W per channel) or up to 200 W to 2-ohm loads (100 W per channel). The operating voltage is fixed at this value; operation at other voltages is not intended. Pairing with Bluetooth sources uses the aptX codec standard, which is designed for low latency in wireless transmission.

Typical applications include building portable or stationary Bluetooth speakers, retrofitting passive speaker columns, or repairing and modernizing older audio devices with Bluetooth connectivity. The compact design fits into small enclosures. One possible application is a DIY party box with two or more of these modules for multichannel operation in a custom wooden enclosure.

Since the module is supplied without connectors, all connections (power supply, speakers, and optional audio input) must be soldered. A 24 V power supply with sufficient current capacity for the intended output must be sourced separately. A board without a power supply is typically used with a bench power supply or an industrial-grade power supply.
