Grove LoRa radio module RFM95 - 868 MHz, ATmega168
This goes with it
Description
Grove – Long Range 868MHz
The main functional module in Grove - Long Range 868MHz is the RFM95, a transceiver with a long-range modem that provides spread-spectrum communication over long distances and high interference immunity with minimal power consumption. At its core is the ATmega168, a widely used chip with very high performance and low power consumption that is particularly well suited for this Grove module.
Tip: If the wire antenna's signal is too weak for reception, an additional antenna can be connected using the MHF connector next to the antenna.
What is Grove?
Grove is a platform developed by Seeed Studio to simplify IoT projects. The Grove connector is integrated into most boards manufactured by Seeed to turn them into a system. This time, Grove was combined with Long Range to provide a wireless module with an extremely long range.
Note:
- Please keep the antenna perpendicular to the board and as straight as possible to achieve the best performance.
- Please avoid placing large metal objects near the antenna. A metal enclosure is also not recommended if you need to add an enclosure to your device.
