Product description
An assortment of glass fuses covers the most common current values used when developing and assembling circuits. The five to six different rated currents make it possible to protect circuits precisely without having to constantly purchase individual replacement fuses. With ten to twenty pieces per rated current, there is enough material for several setups and repairs.
Fast-blow fuses respond more quickly than slow-blow fuses and therefore better protect sensitive components and circuits exposed to peak current loads from overload. The 5 * 20 mm size is standard for small to medium-sized circuits and fits most common fuse holders, from laboratory power supplies to control cabinets. A faulty circuit is interrupted before damage occurs.
The assortment is suitable for laboratory setups with several modules operated in parallel, for protecting Raspberry Pi or Arduino projects with external power supplies, and for repairs and replacements in existing devices. When assembling control cabinets with several independent 5 V or 12 V circuits, the different rated currents also save time when selecting the appropriate fuse.
These fuses are not designed for use in household electrical circuits; other sizes and rated currents are required there. When replacing a fuse in an operating device, the circuit should first be disconnected from the power supply.
