Product Description
A four-position switch with standard pitch enables simple switching operations in electronic prototypes. The rotary switch is plugged or soldered directly into existing pin header systems and requires no additional effort during assembly.
The switch responds to four discrete positions, which can be set by turning the shaft. This allows four different operating modes, settings, or configuration variants, each with its own contact state.
Examples of applications include mode selection in measurement and control setups, input options on microcontroller systems, calibration in sensor applications, or simple menu navigation in standalone devices. The switch can also be used as an emergency-stop selector or to define measurement ranges.
A clear contact assignment is provided for each switch. Contact voltages and load currents must be taken from the data sheets or manufacturer's specifications, as must whether debouncing measures are required in the firmware.
Safety Notice
The switch is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes and is not intended for installation in household power circuits. If use in live or high-voltage circuits is planned, consult a qualified electrician beforehand.
