Product description
This electromagnet switches between opening, closing, and pulling and requires 12 V DC. The bistable switching principle retains its state without continuous current after the coil has been energized briefly. This prevents heat generation while idle and significantly reduces power consumption compared with simple on/off magnets.
The magnet can be used wherever locks and barriers need to be automated. Examples include automatic door closures on display cases or cabinets, electromechanical locks for access control, and roller shutter controls. The switching frequency of up to 5 Hz allows repeated switching without overloading.
A 12 V power source is required for operation. The terminal screws accept flexible copper wires with a cross-sectional area in the standard range. The magnet's force depends on the model and must be matched to the application's requirements.
