Product description

This combined temperature and humidity sensor measures both parameters via a single data line according to the 1-Wire standard. The digital output signal can be read directly by microcontrollers such as Arduino, without requiring additional analog-to-digital converters. The JST connector enables a secure, polarization-safe connection that prevents incorrect connections.

The sensor operates via the 1-Wire protocol, in which all devices are connected to a single bus without requiring additional connection lines. This allows multiple sensors to be operated on a single data line of the controller board. The sensor is factory-calibrated, so adjustment before use is not required.

The device is suitable for indoor climate monitoring in offices and living spaces, greenhouse and storage management, cabinet and transport container monitoring, weather station projects, and data logger setups. A typical application is combining temperature warnings and humidity alarms at a single measuring point, for example to detect condensation or drying out.

The operating voltage range is between 3.0 and 5.5 V, so the sensor works with both 3.3 V and 5 V logic without additional level shifters. Operation requires a suitable controller board with 1-Wire support, as well as a compatible connection cable or pin header for the JST connector. The measurement accuracy of ±2 °C and ±5% relative humidity is sufficient for general environmental monitoring, but the sensor is unsuitable for process and laboratory applications with higher accuracy requirements.
