Product description

This OLED text display with an I2C interface displays up to eight lines of alphanumeric characters on 128*64 pixels. The white display on a black background ensures high readability, even from an angle or in dark environments. The integrated driver requires only two signal lines for data communication.

The I2C connection allows multiple displays to share the same bus if different addresses are configured. This saves connections on the controller board. The operating voltage between 3.3 V and 5 V makes the display compatible with common microcontroller platforms without additional level shifting. Power consumption remains below 100 mA, making longer battery operation possible.

Applications include status displays in autonomous projects, menus in portable devices, or measurement displays in sensor setups. A typical scenario is a portable environmental measuring device that displays temperature and humidity while being powered by a simple battery.

The display is supplied with connections already soldered in place. Operation requires a controller board with I2C support, the corresponding control software, and a power supply cable. Without a power supply unit, the external power supply must be arranged separately.
