Product Description
The potentiometer is a variable resistor with an XH2.54 connector, suitable for analog inputs in circuits and programming tasks. The resistance value can be continuously adjusted using the rotary knob. The three connection pins enable operation as a voltage divider, with the middle contact providing the variable output value while the outer pins are connected to the power supply and ground.
The XH2.54 connector fits directly onto the pin headers of microcontroller boards and common prototyping boards, with no additional wiring required. An analog-to-digital converter on the board converts the changing voltage into digital readings that can be read by the program.
The potentiometer serves as an input element for control tasks and for adjusting LED brightness, motor speeds, or speaker volume. In sensor learning modules, it immediately demonstrates how analog signals are captured by a computer. A variable input element is also needed for calibrating readings or adjusting threshold values.
It is compatible with boards that use 3.3 V logic or 5 V logic and have available analog inputs. Boards without analog inputs require an external ADC board. The potentiometer does not require a separate power supply; it draws power from the board's power connection.
Safety Information
The product is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes and is not suitable for installation in household electrical circuits. Work on or near electrical installations must be carried out by qualified electricians; if anything is unclear, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning.
