Product description
This set contains 22 extruder nozzles for replacement in 3D printers using 1.75 mm filament. The two orifice diameters cover different requirements. 0.2 mm produces fine details and smooth surfaces, while 1.0 mm enables faster prints with less diameter-related material removal. The brass construction conducts heat reliably and wears evenly.
You can switch between the orifice diameters without needing special tools. The standard hotend thread fits common 3D printers; compatibility depends solely on the filament diameter and thread length. Before installation, the hotend temperature should match the material; for standard plastics, the range is between 190 and 250 °C.
Typical applications include switching between highly detailed miniature prints and prototypes where speed takes priority. Quick replacement is also useful when dealing with material wear. A worn 0.2 mm nozzle can be replaced with a new one without replacing the entire hotend assembly.
The nozzles require a compatible hotend system with a 1.75 mm filament inlet. Cleaning worn nozzles is possible, but often not worthwhile for fine orifice diameters; as wear parts, they should be replaced routinely.
Safety information
The nozzles reach temperatures above 200 °C during printing. Only replace them after they have cooled completely, and avoid contact with the hot hotend assembly. This accessory is intended exclusively for use with 3D printers.
