Product Description

This microcontroller board with an integrated WiFi module combines a Wemos D1 Mini processor with an extensive sensor set for networked measurement tasks. The kit contains 15 different modules for measuring temperature, air humidity, air pressure, motion, distances, light intensity, soil moisture, gas concentration, and other parameters.

The microcontroller communicates via WiFi with local networks or cloud services and stores data in its 16 MB memory. The sensors connect to the board's pin headers via plugs, so no soldering is required. A 5 V power supply is required for operation and is provided via the Micro-USB port.

Typical applications include automated weather stations with local data collection, smart room monitoring for checking temperature and air quality, or prototypes for IoT sensor networks that centrally record multiple measurement points via WiFi. The limited storage capacity is better suited to continuous measurement series with data transmission to the network than to long-term local buffering.

A USB power supply is required. The Arduino IDE or a MicroPython environment must be installed on the development computer. Assembling the sensors requires no special tools, but basic knowledge of plug connections and the Arduino IDE or an equivalent development environment is necessary.
