Product Description
This waterproof servo rotates continuously through 300 degrees and is suitable for outdoor or humid environments. The fully sealed housing with metal gears and sealed shaft protects against moisture and corrosion, while the standard connection cable can be connected to all common microcontroller boards.
The servo requires a supply voltage between 4.8 and 7.2 V and delivers a torque of 15 kg·cm within this range. This combination allows operation with both rechargeable batteries and laboratory power supplies. Higher voltages will damage the servo and are not permitted.
The servo can be used, for example, in weather station prototypes for controlling wind flaps, in mobile robots with joints, or in camera pans for outdoor projects. Its waterproof design is also a decisive advantage for irrigated model vehicles with continuous movements. The 300-degree range allows panning movements instead of the limited deflection possible with standard servos.
A power supply in the range of 4.8 to 7.2 V is required for operation. No qualified electrician is required as long as the setup is limited to low voltage and no household electrical circuits are involved.
