Product Description
This brushless motor powers quadcopters and similar multicopters. Designed for an 11.1 V battery voltage, it produces up to 1250 g of thrust, enabling the stable flight of medium-weight aircraft.
The motor requires an electronic speed controller (ESC), which regulates the rotational speed using a control signal from the flight controller. Counterclockwise rotation is required to compensate for reactive torque in symmetrical four-propeller configurations; without the correct motor arrangement, uncontrollable torque will occur. A current draw of up to 15 A requires an ESC with the appropriate current rating.
The motor is used in compact multicopters that perform stabilized aerial photography or transport payloads weighing up to a few hundred grams. With a flight weight in the range of 900 to 1200 g, an aircraft equipped with four such motors can be operated.
A flight controller that outputs PWM or digital control signals is required for operation. The appropriate ESC must be rated for at least 15 A. A stable 3-cell battery with sufficient discharge current capability is also required; in addition, all four motors must have very similar specifications to achieve balanced flight.
Safety Notice
This product is not intended for operation on household electrical circuits and is intended exclusively for testing and prototype construction. High-voltage sources or improper power supplies can cause damage and fires; check all connections before initial operation. If you have questions about electrical safety, consult a qualified electrician.
