Product description

This digital multimeter measures DC voltages up to 20 V and DC currents up to 10 A with an accuracy of ±0.5 percent. The compact handheld device displays measurement values on an LCD and automatically switches to the appropriate measurement range when needed, but it can also be set manually. This makes it suitable for testing laboratory power supplies, USB ports, battery-powered systems, and power consumption in prototypes.

Voltage is measured in parallel with the load, while current is measured in series with the test object. The input resistance is sufficiently high that the measurement does not significantly distort the circuit. The display shows the values immediately after connection, without the need for calibration.

In development, the device is used to check power supply modules, for example when testing LED strips or measuring the power consumption of various sensors and controllers. It also helps quickly identify during prototype debugging whether the current flow is showing unexpected values or is completely absent.

The device runs on batteries, and the battery indicator provides timely warning when the battery is low. Maximum measurement accuracy is achieved at values above approximately 10 percent of the selected range.

Safety information

For current measurements, the device must be connected in series with the load; incorrect connection or measurements at excessive current levels may damage the device. This meter is intended exclusively for recording measurements on prototypes, laboratory and test power supplies, and battery sources up to 20 V. Do not use it to take measurements on household electrical circuits or even near them; if in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
