Product description

A vibration motor with a 3 V supply voltage uses a rotating eccentric weight to generate powerful vibrations. The compact design fits into tight enclosures, while the 30 mm connection cable allows flexible placement in the assembly.

The motor requires only two connection wires and starts immediately when voltage is applied. The eccentric weight typically generates frequencies below 10 kHz. The vibration pattern is uniform and continues as long as current flows.

Typical applications include haptic feedback in portable measuring devices or toy projects, vibration alarms in notification systems, and simple tactile signals for status messages from a robot arm. Objects being carried can also be set into controlled vibration to support material flow or shaking tasks.

Current consumption is typically between 100 and 150 mA. Since the operating voltage is 3 V, this motor can be used directly with 3 V boards. On 5 V systems, a level shifter cannot be used without an additional power supply. The connection cable has no connectors; the connection is made by soldering or using terminal blocks.
