Product description
This 2207 brushless motor is designed to power lightweight model aircraft. The rated voltage of 14.8 V corresponds to a four-cell lithium-polymer battery, as commonly used in multicopters and drones. With a speed constant of 2550 KV, the motor reaches approximately 37,700 revolutions per minute at this voltage, making it suitable for propeller-driven systems with small to medium-sized rotors.
The motor's winding design requires an electronic speed controller (ESC) that generates the three-phase alternating voltage and regulates the speed. The motor does not require a separate controller in the conventional sense; instead, it is connected directly to the ESC board via the three connections. Mechanically, the motor has compact dimensions and weighs approximately 28 grams, which is crucial for flight applications.
Typical applications include building racing drones, photography multicopters, and experimental model aircraft. In lightweight test platforms with a suitably sized battery and propeller, the system achieves good climb performance and responsiveness.
