Product description
This USB cable connects a computer to USB-B-enabled devices such as microcontroller boards or printers. The flat USB-A plug fits into any computer, while the square USB-B plug fits into the corresponding socket on the target device. The 150 cm length enables flexible positioning even over greater distances.
The cable contains separate wires for data and power. The thinner data wires (28 AWG) transmit control signals, while the thicker power wires (24 AWG) carry the operating voltage. These two functions run in parallel, allowing many devices to receive their operating voltage directly through the USB cable without requiring a separate power supply.
The cable complies with the USB 2.0 standard and therefore achieves the maximum data transfer rate of this standard. It works with any computer that has a free USB-A port and with all devices equipped with a USB-B socket.
