Product description
Test and measurement leads with 4 mm plug sockets connect multimeters, laboratory power supplies, or test equipment to measurement points on the workbench. The standard plugs enable easy interchangeability with other laboratory equipment. Depending on the version, the leads cover typical measurement ranges in development and prototype testing.
The SMD tweezers reliably grip small surface-mount components without damaging them. The spring-loaded tips hold the component securely while it is being positioned on the circuit board. The antimagnetic treatment prevents unwanted attraction of magnetic particles and protects temperature-sensitive components.
In everyday laboratory use, both tools are used together, The tweezers place 0603 or smaller resistors, capacitors, and ICs for test setups, while the measurement leads simultaneously monitor voltages and current flows during operation. This makes it possible to quickly create test circuits for checking the functionality of new designs or troubleshooting existing setups.
Measurement leads require safe laboratory practices, while the tweezers work reliably even for occasional manual component placement.
Safety information
Measurement leads are approved exclusively for everyday laboratory use and prototype testing and are not suitable for connection to the household electrical circuit. When taking measurements on or near mains voltage, consult a qualified electrician before beginning work. SMD tweezers are intended only for mechanical component placement; ESD-safe equipment is required when working with electrostatic-sensitive components.
