- Design for front-panel mounting with mounting holes on a 19-mm grid
- Contacts configurable for on-off or changeover operation
Product Description
The rocker switch is a mechanical contact switch for permanent installation in control panels or devices. It reliably switches circuits on and off. The six terminals allow various wiring configurations, including use as a simple on-off switch, changeover switch, or for controlling relays and control systems.
At an operating voltage of 250 V, the switch handles up to 6 A, while at 125 V it handles up to 10 A. The actual load that can be switched is determined by multiplying the voltage and current of the respective application. Both AC and DC are permitted.
The switch is used in laboratory power supplies, test-bench control cabinets, test-machine controls, and control panels. Wherever a clearly perceptible, secure switching action is required and the switching frequency remains low, this switch reliably replaces a sensitive push button.
No electrical interlock with contactors or separate switching relays is provided; the latching function relies solely on the mechanical design. This switch is not designed for high-frequency switching or rapid pulse changes.
Safety Notice
The switch operates with mains voltage up to 250 V and must not be installed in a household electrical circuit. Its use is limited to the construction of test benches, control prototypes, and development purposes. Work on or in the immediate vicinity of power supplies and control cabinets must be carried out by qualified electricians; consult a qualified electrician before commissioning.
