Product description

This suspension set enables a movable motor mount on standard robot chassis with TT gear motors. The set includes two torsion springs as spring elements, stainless steel angle brackets, screws with plastic locknuts, and brass spacers of various lengths.

The torsion springs form the heart of the suspension. Each spring consists of a metal rod with wire coils and counteracts twisting. Mounted between the motor mount and the chassis, it cushions movement and impacts instead of transferring them directly to the chassis plate. This improves the ground contact of the drive wheels.

The set is compatible with the yellow plastic housings and white plastic shafts of TT gear motors and is specifically designed for their movable mounting. The screws and spacers also allow additional boards or brackets to be mounted at a distance above the base plate. Installation is carried out exclusively by screwing; no electrical components or power supply are required.
