Product description
This robot chassis provides a robust foundation for mobile projects with Arduino boards. The plastic platform directly accommodates an Arduino Uno or compatible controllers and mechanically connects them to two geared DC motors. This enables autonomous systems with independent movement.
The motors rotate at approximately 80 revolutions per minute at an operating voltage of 6 volts. A separate motor controller using relays, transistors, or a motor driver module is required to control the wheels from the Arduino. The power supply is provided by a separate battery or an external power supply; the Arduino board can be connected in parallel.
Common applications include obstacle detection using attached ultrasonic sensors, line following with IR sensors on the underside, or controlling motor speed with PWM signals from the Arduino. It is also suitable as a platform for small mechanical manipulators or camera systems.
The chassis is made of ABS plastic and requires no calibration. Wheels are not included. Depending on the project, an additional motor driver for control, navigation sensors, a power supply with at least 6 volts, and possibly structures for mounting additional components may be required.
Safety information
This product is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes. Assembly is carried out using screw connections; care is required when installing electric motors and the power supply to avoid short circuits.
Scope of delivery
included. Depending on the project, an additional motor driver for control, navigation sensors, a power supply with at least 6 volts, and possibly structures for mounting additional components may be required.
