Product Description

This heat-resistant silicone soldering mat creates safe working conditions on the workbench when soldering. The surface does not absorb solder and allows components to cool immediately. Thanks to its temperature resistance of up to 500 °C, even larger soldering irons and hot-air systems cannot damage it.

The mat is ideal for stationary work on electronic circuits, especially for projects involving several solder connections in succession. It also provides reliable support when desoldering components and carrying out temperature resistance measurements. The surrounding protective edge keeps larger components in position and prevents soldering materials from dripping onto the workbench surface.

A separate soldering iron or soldering station is required, as well as solder and flux. The mat does not replace the usual room ventilation required when soldering.

Safety Information

The mat is solely a work surface for testing and development purposes and is not intended for use with mains electricity. Even at temperatures of up to 500 °C, contact with the skin causes burns; allow the surface to cool sufficiently after use. If you are unsure about the safe handling of electrical equipment, consult a qualified electrician.
