Product Description
Perfboards with copper conductor tracks on both sides provide a working surface for building prototypes during electronics development. The plated-through holes electrically connect both sides, allowing circuits to be assembled by hand without threading wires through the board. The green solder mask provides good visibility of the conductor tracks.
The set contains three boards of different sizes, allowing small to medium-sized circuits to be built. The 2.54-mm pitch corresponds to the pin spacing of common electronic components. Components can be inserted directly into the holes and soldered without requiring PCB production using photolithography. The boards can also be cut to achieve the desired geometry.
Applications include building sensor circuits, amplifiers, oscillator circuits, and simple digital logic stages. In everyday projects, perfboards enable circuit ideas to be tested quickly before a final PCB is commissioned. For small quantities or repair work on existing devices, they are often the more economical solution.
Only a soldering iron, solder wire, and common tools such as drills or side cutters are required for operation. The boards contain copper and are typically assembled using lead-tin solder, so the usual precautions for soldering and solder fumes apply.
