Product description
This flexible silicone tubing is suitable for transporting liquids and gases in laboratory setups, prototypes, and scientific experiments. The 3.5 mm inner diameter fits common laboratory components and pumps; the 10 m supplied length is sufficient for multiple experimental setups or long routing distances.
The tubing withstands temperatures from −60 to +200 °C, making it suitable for both cooling applications and heating applications. Its resistance to oils, alcohols, and diluted acids makes it versatile; FDA-standard food certification also allows it to be used with drinking water or laboratory liquids without concern.
In practice, the tubing can be used for water cooling of electronic assemblies, connecting dosing pumps in peristaltic experimental setups, or flexibly routing gas lines between pressure regulators and measuring elements. The tubing’s flexibility also allows tight or curved routing paths without requiring additional fittings.
Connection components with suitable connection diameters, such as hose connectors or fittings for 3.5 mm, must be purchased separately. The tubing is supplied without pre-drilled holes or markings. When using it with aggressive solvents, check compatibility beforehand with a small amount.
