Product Description
This solenoid valve controls pneumatic systems through electromagnetic switching. The coil attracts a valve core, thereby opening or blocking the airflow depending on the switching logic and current flow. With a 12 V operating voltage, the valve can be controlled directly from DC sources, power supply modules, or via a transistor from controller boards.
The JST connector enables quick assembly without soldering and replacement without laborious tool-based disassembly. The valve opens or blocks the air supply to control pneumatic cylinders, gripper hands, or pneumatic drives. Its miniature design also fits projects with limited space.
Applications include robotic grippers, where the valve controls gripping, or automated warehouse systems with pneumatic transfer units. The valve also regulates compressed air for various actuators in test and prototype setups.
An air source with sufficient pressure (typically 4 to 8 bar) and a 12 V DC power source are required. The current consumption is approximately 0.4 A per switching operation; heat buildup must be avoided during continuous operation. The operating pressure and airflow must be matched to the connected consumer.
