Product Description
This brushless DC motor with 2300 revolutions per volt (kV) is designed for multicopter propulsion systems. The high speed constant enables low to medium propeller speeds at moderate battery voltages between 3 and 6 cells, making the motor a standard choice for 250-gram drones and similar designs.
The motor is controlled by an electronic speed controller (ESC), which switches the voltage relationships between the three winding phases. The continuous load is 35 A, while peak values of up to 50 A are possible for short periods. Weighing 26.5 grams and featuring a standardized 5-mm shaft diameter, the motor fits common drone frames without adding unnecessary weight.
Typical applications include FPV racing drones with four to six motors per airframe, smaller camera multicopters, and prototypes for flight mechanics experiments. The motor also works in custom helicopter designs or as a drive element in robotics projects where high speeds and compact designs are required.
An ESC and a power supply with sufficient capacity must be purchased separately. Depending on the propeller size and flight weight, friction losses and cooling requirements must be checked. The motor is not designed for continuous operation above the specified maximum current ratings.
Safety Information
Commissioning is permitted only with an electronic speed controller designed for this purpose. This product is intended exclusively for building drone prototypes and test projects, not for commercial applications without the appropriate certification. If you are unsure about the electrical configuration, consult a qualified electrician.
