Product description
This brushless motor is suitable for multicopters and lightweight aircraft in the FPV sector. With a speed constant of 2300 rpm per volt, it reaches a very high speed even at moderate voltages, generating the necessary thrust for agile flight applications.
With four lithium cells connected in series (4s battery) at a voltage of approximately 14.8 V, the motor achieves up to 1100 g of thrust. This makes it possible to take off with aircraft weighing up to approximately 4 to 5 kg in total, depending on the number of motors and the configuration. The Electronic Speed Control (ESC) is soldered directly to the motor connections; control is provided via PWM signals from a flight controller.
Applications include racing drones with high acceleration performance, more stable camera drones for aerial photography, video FPV aircraft, and experimental DIY constructions. The motor can also withstand short-term overloads without being damaged immediately.
Operation requires a speed controller with sufficient current capacity, a flight controller for control, and a lithium-polymer or lithium-ion battery. Cooling is provided by the air during flight; while stationary on the workbench, the motor should not be run continuously at maximum speed.
Safety information
At high speeds, the motor becomes very hot and generates considerable centrifugal forces. Keep hands and loose objects away while the motor is running. This motor is intended exclusively for the construction and testing of manned or unmanned aircraft and for prototype development. If you are not confident handling high-voltage batteries or electrical installations, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning.
