Petoi Bittle robotic dog - open source, quadruped
Description
Petoi Bittle – Bionic Open-Source Robot Dog
Petoi Bittle is a small but agile and powerful bionic robot dog. It is an ideal tool for learning, teaching, and exploring quadruped robots. With a custom Arduino board that coordinates all instinctive and sophisticated movements, you can connect various sensors to give it additional sensory "perception." You could also add artificial intelligence capabilities by combining Bittle with a Raspberry Pi, ESP32, or other AI chip.
We have compiled more information about "Bittle" on the following website:

Bittle supports visual (block-based) programming, Arduino, C, C++, and Python. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced engineer, you can bring Bittle to life in your own way.
Features:
Unique Bionic System:
The unique bionic system can perform dynamic movements and offers excellent coordination. The bionic leg structure gives it greater freedom on unstructured terrain. This dynamic mobility has previously only been found in very expensive robots from companies such as Boston Dynamics, Spot, or Sony Aibo.
Compatible with Multiple Programming Methods:
Bittle can be programmed at different levels in various programming environments, including the Arduino IDE for C and Codecraft for visual (block-based) programming. Developers and STEM teachers can also review and modify Bittle's C code, which is fully open source.
Custom Arduino Board:
Bittle is powered by the NyBoard V1, a custom Arduino board with extensive peripherals (Atmega328P chip). It fully utilizes the chip in a standard Arduino to coordinate sophisticated movements. The board can drive at least 12 PWM servos, and an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) is used for balancing.
Extensive expandability:
A Raspberry Pi or other artificial intelligence chips can be installed to give Bittle more powerful AI capabilities. The 4 Grove interfaces can connect to external sensors such as ultrasonic and infrared sensors.
Easy to use:
Bittle comes fully assembled and preprogrammed, so it’s ready to use right away.
Comprehensive learning environment:
Bittle comes with extensive course resources, 16 exclusive graphical programming courses, and expansion packs in English.
