Product description

The module switches two independent relays via digital 5 V logic signals. Each channel responds to separate input signals and can be controlled individually, enabling operation in lighting and sensor applications with different switching tasks.

When a high level is received, the contacts close and connect the loads to the mains voltage. A low level opens the relays again. The contacts can handle up to 10 A per channel at 250 V AC, making them suitable for household appliances such as lamps or heating loads. An optical indicator on the board shows the switching status of each channel.

Typical applications include remote control of lighting via microcontrollers, controlling loads during automated heating tests, or building prototype hardware for sensor-controlled switching operations. The compact board with two electrically independent switching circuits provides a flexible starting point, particularly for laboratory setups.

Operation requires a separate 5 V power supply for the logic side and a suitable power source or mains connection for the load circuit. The signal inputs are limited to digital logic; analog voltages may cause undefined behavior. External switches are required to control loads with a current consumption exceeding 10 A or at higher voltages.
